5-Day Odisha Golden Triangle Tour with Chilika and Konark

Upon arrival in Bhubaneswar, the group will be picked up by bus and taken to Puri. After a short refreshment break in Bhubaneswar, the journey to Puri (approximately 60-70 km) offers opportunities to observe roadside sights and natural scenery.

Along the way, the group will visit the famous Bata Mangala Temple, a renowned Sakti Pitha situated by the roadside. Finally, they will reach Puri and check in at the hotel.

Early in the morning, the group will witness the serene beauty of the Bay of Bengal by visiting Neeladri Beach and Golden Beach. At 10:30 a.m., they will proceed for Lord Jagannatha's darshan and have Mahaprasad for lunch by 1 p.m.

Afterwards, they will return to the hotel for a short refreshment. At 3 p.m., they will visit the Sun Temple in Konark, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and watch the light show at 5 p.m. In the evening, they may optionally visit the sea beach again to enjoy the view of the golden beach in Puri.

The entire day will be dedicated to a full-day excursion, usually from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The group will proceed to Chilika, Satapada, Asia's largest brackish water lake and a renowned sanctuary for Irrawaddy dolphins and migratory birds. It is also a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site and a RAMSAR-declared site.

Participants will have the opportunity to appreciate the natural beauty, habitat, and scenery while enjoying unique boating experiences, dolphin watching, and delicious local non-vegetarian cuisine, particularly famous for crabs and fish. They will also learn about, enjoy, and experience the marine culture and traditions of the local people, creating lasting memories through photography.

In the morning, usually around 8 a.m., the group will proceed to Bhubaneswar. En route, they will visit Sakhigopal Temple, a highly sacred temple, and Raghurajpur village, renowned for its Patachitra making.

They will also visit Pipili, famous for its appliqué works, a traditional craft of the local people. Additionally, they will explore Dhauli Santi Stupa, a peace pagoda of Buddhist significance, before checking in at the hotel.

In the afternoon, they will visit the Rajarani Temple, known for its unique architecture, the Mukteswar Temple, featuring exquisite architectural work, and the Lingaraj Temple, a famous Lord Shiva temple in eastern India with splendid architecture. If time permits, they may also enjoy some shopping in Bhubaneswar.

Early in the morning, the group will visit Khandagiri and Udayagiri, Jain caves dating back to the 2nd century BCE. They will also enjoy a white safari at Nandan Kanan, visit some of the finest shopping centres in the city, explore rich handicrafts, and savour delicious traditional Odishan cuisine.

Finally, they will prepare for departure from the airport, cherishing the experiential memories, enjoyment, fun, the guide's hospitality, and their memories of the destination.
