Bahrain Fort (60 min): Enjoy a guided tour of this archaeological site in Bahrain. Archaeological excavations have been carried out here since 1954, unearthing antiquities from an artificial mound with a height of 12 m (39 ft). The site contains seven stratified layers created by various occupants from 2300 BC to the 18th century. It was once the capital of the Dilmun civilization and was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005.
Dilmun Burial Mounds - Photo Stop (10 min): Built between 2200 and 1750 BCE, the Dilmun Burial Mounds span more than 21 archaeological sites in the Kingdom of Bahrain. These burial mounds provide evidence of the Early Dilmun civilization.
