Sa Pa to Bac Ha Market, Pho Village and Lao Cai City

After being picked up by your guide from your accommodation in Sa Pa at 7:30 AM, you will embark on a bus journey to Bac Ha Market. The distance from Sa Pa to Bac Ha Market is 110 kilometres, and you are expected to arrive in Bac Ha around 10:45 AM. This excursion presents an excellent opportunity to explore the vibrant highland market, where various ethnic groups gather to trade commodities such as vegetables, sugarcane, clothes, buffalo, cows, and pigs. Additionally, the market serves as a meeting place for young people, allowing them to socialize and potentially find a partner.
Bac Ha Market: Bac Ha Market is Vietnam's largest and most renowned upland market. It operates solely on Sundays from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM and offers a wide array of goods. Visitors will encounter distinct clothing, languages, and people from different ethnic groups, including the Mong flower people, Tay people, Nung people, and Dao people.
Pho Village: After exploring Bac Ha Market, the group will return to the bus and visit Pho Village, a small settlement of the Mong flower people situated 2 kilometres from Bac Ha town.
