Day 01

Ferry Cruise from Dhaka to Barishal

  • Board the ferry from Sadarghat in south Dhaka and begin your cruise to Barishal. Enjoy the cool sea breeze under the open sky, along with lovely views of the moon and the stars.

Dinner and overnight stay in a 1st class AC cabin on the Motor Launch (ferry).

Day 02

Journey to Kuakata and Fatra Mangrove Forest

  • After arriving in Barishal, drive to Kuakata, the country's only natural sea beach.
  • Then, cruise by boat towards the East Side of the Sunderban and visit the Fatra Mangrove Forest, famous for its timber wood. You will also see monkeys, jackals, a species of small tigers named "Bagdas", and Red Crabs' nests and activities at Red Crab Island through the Bay of Bengal channel.
  • Visit the famous Kuakata Beach in the evening and enjoy the enchanting, colourful sunset.

Dinner and overnight stay at a state-owned motel in Kuakata.

Day 03

Sunrise at Kuakata and Cultural Encounters

  • Enjoy the beautiful sunrise at the beach and observe different birds from the Crow Land of Gangamoti Reserve Forest.
  • Visit the Buddhist Temple, one of the biggest seaside spots in the country, and see the lifestyle of the Rakhine Tribal Village fishermen as they engage in cloth weaving, Jhau Ban/coconut orchards, and other daily activities.
  • Continue to Barishal and stay overnight in Barishal City.

Day 04

Senerhat Village Visit and Folk Music Evening

  • Transfer to Senerhat village and, en route, visit BM College, Durga Sagar, and Guthia Mosque.
  • Meet the host family in the village and observe the activities of the villagers, such as pottery, basket, mat and rice pot making, plough cultivation, and hatchery ponds. You will also see the village market, school, bakery, and local functions.
  • Enjoy a local folk song programme in the evening.

Dinner and overnight stay with the host family.

Day 05

Floating Markets and Backwater Cruise

  • Visit the floating markets and enjoy a river cruise and backwater trip.
  • Continue to the hub for Sunderban timber and Nipa Palm leaves before returning to the host house in the afternoon.

Dinner and overnight stay in the village.

Day 06

Barishal Sightseeing and Bhola Island Cruise

  • Proceed to the famous Hilsa Fish Market to watch the full operation of unloading fish from fishing boats and loading them onto goods trucks.
  • Then, visit the 150-year-old Brojo Mohon College to see one of the green campuses, as well as the Old Market and Chowk Bazaar, where you can observe various trade activities.
  • Take a river cruise to Bhola Island and, after returning in the afternoon, visit the Epiphany Church, one of the largest churches on the Asian continent.
  • Board the ferry from Barishal river port and travel back to Dhaka.

Overnight aboard the ferry in an AC 1st Class Cabin.

Day 07

Arrival in Dhaka and Hotel Transfer

  • After arrival at Dhaka Riverport, transfer to the hotel by reserved CNG. End of tour.
