4-Day Tanzania Wildlife Safari through Serengeti and Ngorongoro

• Depart after breakfast, stopping in Arusha town for any last-minute purchases before heading off on safari.

• Continue to Tarangire National Park for a game drive with a picnic lunch in the park. Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the center of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3,000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, and 30,000 zebras.

• Drive to Karatu in the late afternoon for an overnight stay at Eileen's Tree Inn Lodge.

• Depart for Serengeti National Park after breakfast. Leaving the highlands behind, descend into the heart of wild Africa - the Serengeti National Park - with its endless plains rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see.

• Continue to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source and attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti's species.

• Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park.

• Leave in the late evening for an overnight stay at Serengeti Thorn Tree Camp.

• Head to Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast and descend 600 meters to the crater floor, exploring over 2,500 species of fauna and flora found in the crater. Black rhinos, hippos, prides of lions, and much more can be seen here.

• Enjoy your packed lunch in the crater, possibly overlooking the hippo pool.

• Continue with game drives after lunch, then later leave Ngorongoro Crater and head toward Karatu for dinner.

• Depart after breakfast for Lake Manyara Park, which is famous for its tree-climbing lions and is also known as the home of baboons, giraffes, elephants, hippos, and much more.

• Enjoy your packed lunch in the park.

• Head out of the park and continue toward Arusha for an overnight stay or a transfer to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
