The itinerary

Day 01

Airport Arrival, Negombo Beach and Kalpitiya

After pickup from the airport, proceed to Negombo.
Visit Negombo Beach, then enjoy a hearty lunch.
Proceed to Kalpitiya Beach.

Day 02

Kalpitiya Beach Relaxation and Transfer to Anuradhapura

Relax on the beach in the morning.
Try snorkelling.
In the afternoon, leave the hotel and proceed towards Anuradhapura, the ancient city ruins.

Day 03

Aukana Buddha Statue and Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress

Leave the hotel in the morning and proceed to the Aukana Buddha Statue.
Then continue to the Sigiriya Lion Rock fortress.
- Optional: Ayurveda herbal spa or elephant-back ride in Habarana.

Day 04

National Park Safari, Polonnaruwa and Pasikudah Beach

Enjoy a morning safari at Minneariya, Kaudulla, or Wasgamuwa National Park.
Then proceed to the ancient city ruins of Polonnaruwa.
Relax at Pasikudah Beach.

Day 05

Pasikudah, Trincomalee and Nilaveli Beach

Spend a relaxing morning on the beach, with time for snorkelling or diving.
Then proceed to Nilaveli Beach.
Relax on the beach.

Day 06

Dambulla, Cultural Visits and Kandy Temple of the Tooth

Leave the hotel and proceed to Dambulla and its Golden Rock Temple.
On the way to Kandy, visit a spice and herbal garden, a Hindu temple, and a batik factory.
In the evening, visit Kandy's Temple of the Tooth Relic.
