This amazing 40 km long wine cellar labyrinth, carved deep into a limestone hill, hides many old oak casks with beautiful wood-carving decoration and other interesting wine relics. It has been a continuously working wine cellar for more than 300 years, aging wines from different Hungarian wine regions. Wine making was practiced here already during Roman times. The village is a proud holder of the international "town of wine and champagne" title.
