Petra and Dead Sea Beach Experience
07:00 am: Pick-up from any hotel or residence in Amman and drive 2.5 hours to the rose-red city of Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and, since 1985, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Enter Petra via the Siq, an impressively narrow path flanked by 80-meter-high cliffs, until you reach the Treasury. Its name comes from the Bedouin belief that the Pharaoh hid his treasure in the urn at the top of the Khazneh. The monument consists of a massive façade, 30 meters wide and 43 meters high, carved out of the rose-red sandstone in the early 1st century.
See the Street of Façades and the Royal Tombs.
Say farewell to the guide and walk back the same way to the entrance gate.
Head to the Dead Sea beach with the driver. Enjoy free time with the chance to float on the salty waters.
Transfer to your hotel or residence in Amman.
