Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrive To The Bale Mountains

   • If you depart from Addis or other cities, you will be at bale mountains headquarter by late afternoon, therefore welcome you and leisurely; we do have time to do a short walk in the open woodland of Hygenia and Juniperus forest where you can easily spot two endemic mammals of Mountain Nyala. Minilicks bush back, as well as many endemic birds, like, the Abyssinian catbird, white-backed black Tit, Yellow Fronted parrot, Abyssinian wood peaker, and wattled ibis.

2. Day 2: Dinsho To Sodoto ,18KM, 5-6hRS

   • After breakfast, we engage in our trek by crossing the beautiful local village and stopping at fincha Habera waterfall; from this point, it's the best place to see an endangered canine species of Ethiopian wolf and its prey, the giant mole rat, the Tawny eagle, lesser spotted eagle and spot breasted plover are among the birds to be visited here,

3. Day 3: Sodota To Wasema 17 KM ,5-6hrs,

   • Depart from the web valley by enjoying the panoramic view of Kotera Plain and pass through the magnificent Mararo Valley, where the lammergeyer and Verraux eagle has a nest.

4. Day 4: Wasema To Sannattie plateau ,19 KM ,6hrs,

   • Early morning enjoy the sunrise on Wasema Mountain after breakfast starts the day by climbing up near Wasema Mount, the view of worgona valley and mount archa is incredible, the rest of the day we trek on the Sannattie plateau. The largest afro-alpine habitat in Africa, we will easily see the Abyssinian starks Hare, blue-winged goose, spot-breasted lapwings, and falcons as well.

5. Day 5: Sannattie plateau To Harenna forest

   • In the morning, drive through the Afro Alpine Sannatie plateau, then explore the Harenna forest and drive back to Goba,

6. Day 6: Goba To Langano

   • From Goba, drive toward the east to Langano, stop at Shashamene Rastafarian village and, in the afternoon relax at Langano, the only Bilharzia-free lake in Ethiopia.

7. Day 7: Langano to Addis Abeba

   • Leave late from Langano and stop at lake way, then arrive in Addis; in the evening, enjoy one of the traditional dancing restaurants.
