Itinerary

1. Day 1: Dambulla

   • On the first day, you will travel to Dambulla. You can visit Dambulla Cave Temple, Dambulla Golden Temple and Sigiriya on this day. 
   • In the afternoon, you will proceed to Sigiriya to climb the Sigiriya Lion Rock. There you can see a large number of ancient architectural techniques.
   • At the end of the day, the driver will bring you back to Dambulla for the first night's accommodation.

2. Day 2: Kandy

   • On the second day of the tour, travel to Kandy. On the way to Kandy, you will visit Nalanda Gedige and Matale Hindu Temple. Nalanda Gedige is the absolute center of Sri Lanka.
   • In Kandy, you will visit the Temple of Tooth. This is the house of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha and the main pilgrimage of Sri Lankan Buddhists. You can get wonderful architecture with a colourful culture here at once.
   • Then you will visit the Royal Botanical Garden, the royal garden of the last king. Authorities maintain the garden well for visitors to see many flora species. Furthermore, you can see several valuable historical trees here with a beautiful orchid garden.
   • After that, the driver will take you on a city tour in Kandy. You can see Kandy Lake, the Old English Market, the Old Prison of Bogambara and several other important places there.
   • Then you will participate in seeing a Traditional Dancing Show in the evening. After that, the driver will drop you at the hotel where you will stay overnight in Kandy.

3. Day 3: Nuwara Eliya

   • On the third day, you will travel to Nuwara Eliya. Along the way to Nuwara Eliya, you will visit a tea plantation. There you will get an experience of the Ceylon Tea making process.
   • Then you will head to the Ramboda waterfalls. You can bathe at a natural pool at the top of the waterfall.
   • After that, proceed to Nuwara Eliya. You can visit some unique tourist places in Nuwara Eliya, such as Gregory Lake, Gregory Park, Victoria Park, Golf Grounds, Race Course to ride horses and a city tour to see local markets and other places.

   Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

4. Day 4: Ella

   • At the beginning of the fourth day, you will travel to Ella. You will visit three main tourist places at Ella. First is the Nine Arches Bridge, one of the most beautiful railway bridges in Sri Lanka. 
   • Then you will head to Little Adam’s Peak and Ella Rock. Two of those are trekking experiences. Furthermore, those are wonderful and full of picturesque natural sceneries.
   • Then you will proceed down to Tissamaharama. Along the way to Tissamaharama, you will visit Ravana waterfalls and Buduruwagala Temple. Buduruwagala is a Buddhist temple with large stone-carved Buddha statues.

   The driver will drop you at the hotel, where you will stay overnight at Tissamaharama.

5. Day 5: Yala National Park - Galle

   • You will visit a wildlife safari at Yala National Park at the beginning of the fifth day. You may see large number of wild elephants, leopards and many other animals there. Yala is one of the best places to visit in Sri Lanka for a safari experience.
   • Start travelling to Galle after the safari. You will visit Tangalle Beach, Wevurukannala Buddhist Temple, Stilt Fishermen and Turtle Hatchery on the way to Galle.

   Overnight in Galle.

6. Day 6:

   • Today you will go to the Galle Dutch Fort. This is the icon of the city and is visited by a large number of people around the world.
   • After that, you will proceed for a Galle City Tour. The driver will take you to the marketplaces during the Galle City Tour. You can visit the Batik factory and Mask factory in addition to the above places.

   Return to Colombo.
