Itinerary

1. Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

   • Upon your arrival in Nairobi at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you'll be met and greeted by our local representative and their guide. Depending on your arrival time, you will be transferred to a city hotel (accommodation at an extra cost) or commence your safari.
   • From Nairobi city to Amboseli National Park, it is a drive of approximately 4-5 hours, and along the way, you will enjoy scenic views of the countryside, and when you arrive in the park, you will be welcomed by the spectacular backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro – the tallest free-standing mountain in Africa. You will arrive in time for lunch, which you will have at your lodge. In the afternoon, you will go for a game drive enjoying sightings of animals such as elephants, cape buffaloes, hyenas, impalas, lions, and giraffes, among others. 

   Return to AA Lodge for dinner and overnight.

2. Day 2: Full Day Adventure in Amboseli National Park

   • We'll begin with an early morning game drive. You can spot elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and many other animals during this time. Take a break from the game drive and have a buffet breakfast.
     Later, visit one of the Maasai villages near the park to learn about their culture and way of life. You can also purchase some of their handmade crafts as souvenirs.
   • Stop for lunch at one of the lodges or campsites in the park. You can enjoy a hot meal while taking in the stunning views of the park. Proceed for an afternoon game drive. The animals are less active during this time, but you may still spot some wildlife.
   • Stop at a scenic location in the park for a sundowner, a Kenyan tradition where you enjoy a drink as you watch the sunset over the savannah. End your day with a night game drive to see some nocturnal animals that come out after dark. You may spot hyenas, jackals, and other predators during this time.

   Return to AA lodge for dinner and an overnight stay

3. Day 3: Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park

   • Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and head to the park for an early morning game drive. It is a perfect experience to enjoy the sunrise over the snow-capped summit of Mount Kilimanjaro and several animals before they go into hiding because of the sun. Some animals to look out for include large herds of elephants, rhinos, cape buffaloes, and giraffes.
   • You will return to your lodge for breakfast and a few minutes of rest, check out and transfer to Tsavo west national park, another great wildlife destination in Kenya and home to an abundance of wildlife.
   • Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, and in the afternoon, you will go for a game drive searching for animals such as herds of dust-red elephants, rhinos, cape buffaloes, leopards, hippos, and waterbucks, among others. After enjoying the spectacular sunset views, you will return to Salt Lick Safari lodge for dinner and overnight.

4. Day 4: Tsavo East National Park Adventure

   • After breakfast, you will checkout of your lodge and with en- a route drive, you will transfer to Tsavo East National Park, which is separated from Tsavo West by a rail line; upon arrival in the park, you will head to your lodge for lunch after checking in. In the afternoon, you will go on a game drive searching for wildlife habitats of Tsavo West; some of the animals you should expect to see in Tsavo East include lions, elephants, warthogs, and elands, among others. 

   Return to voi wildlife lodge for dinner and overnight.

5. Day 5: Tsavo East to Diani Beach

   • Enjoy an early breakfast, check out of the lodge and head to the park for an en-route game drive as you exit the park heading to Diani Beach– one of the best beach destinations in the world. 
   • Arrive in time for lunch, check into your beach hotel and spend the evening relaxing at the lodge’s swimming pool or take a walk along the white sand beach or swim in the clear blue ocean waters. In the evening, you will have dinner and stay overnight at Diani reef beach resort & Spa.

6. Day 6: Fun Time at Diani Beach

   • You will spend a full day relaxing at the beach hotel and exploring Diani Beach on foot and having one of the best beaches in the world, with white sandy shores and crystal clear waters. You can sunbathe, swim, or even stroll in the evening.

   Later have dinner and an overnight stay at Diani Reef Beach Resort & Spa.

7. Day 7: Diani to Nairobi

   • After breakfast, you will be transferred to Nairobi via road or pick up the air transfer option at an extra cost from Ukunda Airstrip for your flight back. 

   If not travelling on the same night, accommodation will be facilitated in Nairobi at an extra cost.
