Itinerary

1. Day 1: Nairobi - Amboseli National Park

   • Your tour starts with a pick-up in the morning from your Nairobi hotel or the airport. You will proceed on a drive of about 5 hours to Amboseli. The park is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape and open plains. Amboseli is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close.
   • Upon arrival, check-in at your lodge, have lunch and start your afternoon safari in Amboseli. You can do afternoon game drives until about 6:00 PM.

   Return to your camp or lodge for a freshly-prepared dinner.

2. Day 2: Amboseli National Park - Lake Naivasha

   • Have an early breakfast and then check out from the lodge. Enjoy an en-route game drive to Lake Naivasha (5 hours). There will be a stop to view the Great Rift Valley scenery as you proceed to Naivasha. You will check in at Naivasha Sopa Lodge on arrival and have lunch. Later, have an afternoon game drive with a visit to Hell's Gate National Park, which allows hiking, cycling, rock climbing, and wildlife photography. You can also visit the geothermal power plant. 

   Return for dinner and your overnight stay.

3. Day 3 - Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara

   • After breakfast, leave Lake Naivasha and proceed to Masai Mara on the 5-hour drive. You will pass through Narok, a famous Maasai town, and proceed to Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will arrive in time for check-in at Mara Sopa Lodge. Enjoy lunch and have a short rest.
   • Go on a game drive through the park in search of a lion, cheetah, elephant, buffalo, and other members of the Big Five and other animals.

   Later, return for dinner and an overnight stay.

4. Day 4 - Full day in Masai Mara National Reserve

   • Enjoy a full day in Masai Mara National Reserve. You will be taken on two game drives, one in the morning before breakfast and the other in the afternoon.
   • As your safari is private, your game drive timings are flexible, which is helpful if you travel with children or are on a honeymoon. You may also have a full-day game drive with a packed picnic lunch and return to the lodge in the evening for dinner.

5. Day 5 - Masai Mara National Reserve - Nairobi

   • Have an early morning game drive, and then return to your lodge for breakfast. Check out and have a short en-route game drive as you exit the Masai Mara National Reserve. Drive to Nairobi for drop-off at your respective hotel or the airport.
