Golden Heritage Through Art, History, and Flavors
- 9:00 am - Pick up clients from their hotel in Downtown Bogotá.
- 9:10 am - Arrive at the Gold Museum and explore the captivating exhibits showcasing the biggest gold collection in South America. (Closed on Mondays)
- 11:00 am - Head to the Candelaria neighborhood and immerse yourself in its historic charm, taking a leisurely walk through its picturesque streets, including Chorro de Quevedo square.
- 11:30 pm - Discover the vibrant world of Bogotá's street art scene, visiting notable murals and learning about the stories behind them.
- 12:00 pm - Take a break to taste delicious Colombian tropical fruits, sampling 7 of the 17 exotic varieties available.
- 12:30 pm - Experience the flavors of an authentic indigenous drink, 'Chicha,' and learn about its cultural significance.
- 13:00 pm - Stroll along Calle 10ma, admiring the aristocratic Spanish charm and visiting colonial houses that transport you to the era of the Spanish conquerors.
- 13:00 pm - Visit Bolívar Square and admire the surroundings of the presidential house, soaking in the historical and political significance of the area.
- 13:30 pm - Enjoy a traditional and flavorful lunch, savoring the specialty soup Ajiaco, known for its rich flavors and local ingredients. (Lunch not included; the guide will suggest a non-touristic and authentic restaurant.)
- 14:30 pm - Walk through Carrera 7ma, passing by San Francisco, the oldest and most baroque church in town, and appreciating its architectural beauty.
- 15:30 pm - Conclude the tour with a visit to the Botero Museum (Closed on Tuesdays), where you can marvel at the unique art collection of renowned artist Fernando Botero.
- 16:30 pm - Drop off clients at their hotel, marking the end of the full-day tour.
