798 Art District is a new landmark and a gathering place in Beijing for young people who love art and culture. This area is known as 798, but it is an innovative park renovated from the old state-owned electronics industry factories called the 718 Joint Factory, and Factory 798 is one of them.

Since 2001, artists from Beijing and beyond have gathered in Factory 798. Their unique artistic vision found great advantages in this place for creative work. They rented and made full use of the original German Bauhaus-style factory buildings. With furnishing and decoration, they successfully turned these decommissioned factories into unique spaces for art exhibitions and creation.

798 Art District is now home to nearly 200 galleries, exhibitions, art centres, and independent artists. Accompanied by your private tour guide, explore this vast area and feast your eyes on the studios and design companies.
