Serra Malagueta Hike and Tarrafal Beach Escape
- Pick up at your hotel.
- Departure at 08:00 am from Praia to Serra Malagueta, one of the highest points on the island of Santiago and an area rich in endemic species. The first stop is at the park museum.
- Your hike starts with a panoramic view from 800 meters above sea level. There are more than 124 species of plants and 19 species of birds. You may also see monkeys during your hike.
- Enjoy a privileged view of the local community, the highest peaks, the city of Assomada, and especially the Fogo volcano and Maio Island.
- Lunch in Tarrafal at a local restaurant in front of the beach.
- Free time to bathe at one of the most beautiful beaches on the island.
- On the way back to Praia, visit the Rabelado community and the best banana plantations and coconut trees in Cape Verde, in Pedra Badejo.
- Finally, return to the hotel.
- Arrival at the hotel at 17:30.
