The itinerary

Day 01

Actun Tunichil Mucknal Cave Adventure

The tour starts at 7:30 am from the San Ignacio area and drives for approximately 1.5 hours to the parking lot area. From the parking area, your guide will provide your cave equipment, and then you will proceed on a hike of approximately 45 minutes, crossing the river three times before entering the cave. You will spend approximately 2 hours inside the cave, depending on your interest. After the tour, you will return to your hotel in the San Ignacio area around 4:30 pm.
