Full-Day Group Tour of Kakheti Wine Region
You will meet the driver and guide in your hotel lobby and depart towards the Kakheti region of Georgia, the cradle of Georgian winemaking. Our first stop will be the Kakhetian Traditional Winery Factory for winetasting and a local tour. Here, you can participate in any activities and taste more than 30 varieties of the best locally produced wine. Later, you will continue to Bodbe monastery complex, functioning as a nunnery since 1889. According to the legend, it is the burial place of St. Nino, who converted Georgia to Christianity in the 4th century. Continue later to Sighnaghi, the city of love and the Royal Town, one of the crossroads of the Great Silk Road surrounded by defensive walls with 23 towers., before departing back to your hotel in Tbilisi.
