Day 01

Beijing Layover Tour to Mutianyu Great Wall

Your private layover tour begins with pickup at Beijing Daxing Airport or Beijing International Airport (PEK) in the morning or afternoon, depending on your flight arrival time.

Meet your tour guide and travel to Mutianyu Great Wall by private vehicle. Please note that travel from Beijing International Airport (PEK) to Mutianyu requires at least 5 hours, and travel from Beijing Daxing Airport to Mutianyu Great Wall requires at least 7 hours.

On the way to the Great Wall, your guide will explain the history and stories of the Great Wall. You will also enjoy the beautiful countryside scenery along the way. Feel free to ask any questions you have during the tour.

On arrival at the Mutianyu Great Wall, you will take either the cable car round trip or the ski lift up and later use the toboggan down from the Great Wall. Spend 2-4 hours hiking up and down on the wall, and explore different beacon and watchtowers. Depending on your flight arrival and departure time, you can decide how far you want to go and how long you want to stay.

Your private tour ends with return transport to Beijing Daxing Airport or Beijing International Airport (PEK), or drop-off at your Beijing city hotel.
