Koh Ker Temples and Preah Vihear from Siem Reap
- Our experienced guide will pick you up from your Siem Reap hotel at around 7:00 am and drive to Koh Ker, which takes about two hours to reach. You will have about two hours to explore the site, where a dozen temples can be visited across 91 square kilometres. The most interesting temples are Prasat Pram, Lingas Temple, Neang Kmao Temple, and the imposing 7-tier Pyramid Temple.
- Continue to Preah Vihear, which takes about another hour and thirty minutes. Built on a promontory of the Dangrek Range, 625 m above sea level, PRASAT PREAH VIHEAR (the temple of the sacred mountain), as it is locally known, represents a unique example of the integration of a temple complex with the natural landscape.
- Drive back to Siem Reap, with a stop halfway to visit the last stronghold of the Khmer Rouge if time permits.
