The itinerary

Day 01

Karatu to Serengeti via Ngorongoro Highlands

After breakfast, around 7:30 am, depart for Serengeti National Park via the beautiful high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Leaving the highlands behind, descend into the heart of wild Africa - the Serengeti National Park - where endless plains roll into the distance as far as the eye can see.
Head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area. This is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park and features the Seronera River, a valuable water source that attracts diverse wildlife.
Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park.
After the game drive, around 5:30 pm, return to Tukaone Tented Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 02

Full-Day Game Drive in the Seronera Area

After breakfast, depart the lodge early in the morning with a packed lunch for the Seronera area, located in the heart of the park.
The game drive along the well-known Seronera River circuit offers a better chance of spotting leopards resting in the tree branches during the daytime. An enormous pride of lions also resides in this area. The river sustains water year-round, providing drinking water and grazing land for the resident species.
Stop for lunch at a convenient picnic site and continue with a game drive in various parts of the area.
In the late evening, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and an overnight stay at Tukuone Tented Camp.

Day 03

Ngorongoro Crater Safari and Return to Arusha

After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a picnic lunch.
Before reaching the Ngorongoro Crater, visit a Maasai village. Upon arrival, descend into the crater for a half-day game drive. Due to its 2000-ft. high walls, very few animals migrate in and out of the crater, providing an opportunity to see a wide range of wildlife, such as lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, and many birds.
Your driver-guide will impress you with their skill in locating hidden animals.
Enjoy lunch at a picnic site beside the lake, and in the late afternoon, ascend the crater.
Finally, head back to Arusha, concluding your wildlife adventure.
