Day 01

Arusha to Lake Manyara Game Drive

  • Enjoy breakfast, then meet your driver-guide for the transfer to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive until sunset. The journey from Arusha to the park takes approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes, with picnic lunch boxes included.
  • Meander along bush tracks and explore the lake, home to thousands of flamingos, while following the river's twists and turns to discover elephants drinking and playing in the water. More than 350 bird species have been observed here, along with large flocks of more than 2 million flamingos. Do not miss the amazing chance to see tree-climbing lions, elephants, and monkeys, as well as hippos, gazelles, warthogs, wildebeest, waterbucks, zebras, hyenas, and baboons.
  • Later in the evening, you will be taken to a mid-range lodge in the village of Mto Wa Mbu. The camping area is set in a nice garden with a restaurant and bar. At Nsya Lodge, you will be served dinner and spend the night on a full-board basis.

Day 02

Journey to Central Serengeti

  • Wake up early at 5:45 am and enjoy a cup of freshly brewed Tanzanian coffee. Then depart for Serengeti National Park, travelling for 4-5 hours with your packed lunch boxes. You will explore the central part of the Serengeti, an area surrounded by wildlife throughout the year.
  • Central Serengeti is known for its many leopards, baobab trees, and towering acacias. Because of the Seronera River, this area supports resident animals such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs all year round. Here, you will also be able to appreciate more geographical features, and if part of the migration is passing through this side of the Serengeti, you may still have the chance to see it.
  • On arrival in Serengeti, continue with afternoon game viewing before driving to a picnic site for lunch. At the appropriate time, you will be transferred to Osinon Tented Camp, a mid-range camp, for dinner and an overnight stay on a full-board basis.

Day 03

Sunrise Safari and Ngorongoro Rim

  • Enjoy a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti wilderness until 11:00 AM. During this early game drive, you may also take an optional balloon safari at extra cost. Return to the camp for breakfast, then travel with your picnic lunch boxes to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where the game drive will be conducted at the crater rim.
  • The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is administered by the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority. The crater is home to about 25,000 large animals, including lions, black rhinos, wild hunting dogs, and golden cats. It also supports the largest animal migration of about 1 million wildebeests, 72,000 zebras, and 350,000 gazelles. The beauty of the scenery is such that it remains one of the places on Earth where you may see all of the Big Five at once: lion, leopard, bull elephant, African buffalo, and black rhino. You also have the option of visiting the Maasai people, including an optional visit to a Maasai boma and a meeting with the village elder, who will introduce you to the traditional Maasai lifestyle and culture that has been maintained for centuries and continues to thrive in an ever-changing world.
  • Later, at the appropriate time, you will be taken to your accommodation. Rhino Lodge is a mid-range lodge located at the edge, about 20 minutes' drive from the Ngorongoro rim, with 24 bedrooms, beautiful amenities, a restaurant, and a bar. At Rhino Lodge, you will have dinner and spend the night on a full-board basis.
