The itinerary

1

Day 01

Lomé, Togoville, and Agbodrafo Heritage

• Pick up from the hotel and drive for 40 minutes to visit Togoville and the Slave House, a wooden home, at Agbodrafo.
• Return to Lomé and visit the Fetish Market (Akodesewa), Independence Square, Lomé Palace, the National Museum, Assigame Market, and the Cathedral.
• Return to the hotel for overnight accommodation.

Day 02

Kpalimé Waterfalls, Mount Agou, and Artisan Heritage

• Pick up from the hotel and drive 2 hours to Kpalimé to visit:
  • Kpimé Waterfalls
  • Mount Agou, with its beautiful scenery over the city
  • Château Vial, a colonial relic
  • Centre Artisanal de Kpalimé
• Lodge in Kpalimé for overnight accommodation.

Day 03

Through Atakpamé to Sokodé and Kara

• Hotel pick up and depart through Atakpamé, with a stopover at the colourful Anie Market and to meet the industrious Kotokoli women.
• Continue to Sokodé to visit the traditional weaving center and the Sokodé Market.
• Proceed to Kara for lodge accommodation.

Day 04

Koutammakou, Tamberma Valley, and Fire Dance

• Visit Koutammakou and Tamberma Valley with its beautiful 'Tata' - miniature fortified castles built with clay.
• Also visit the handicraft centers of 'Losso Soukala', Kran National Park, Bafilo Falls, and Fazao Mafakassa National Park.
• In the evening, witness a fire dance in the village of Tinado.
• Return to the hotel for overnight accommodation.

Return to Lomé for Departure

• Depart with a 6-hour drive from Kara to the airport in Lomé.
