Visit Uxmal, the main capital of the Puuc region from the late Mayan Classic period, renowned for its incredible decorative facades and one of the most beautiful architectural styles in southern Mexico. Surrounded by hills and jungle, the site offers much more than monumental buildings. After the visit, enjoy an authentic gastronomic experience with a Mayan family, taking part in the preparation and cooking process before tasting the flavours of today's Yucatán. To complete the journey, choose between an amazing cenote or a Museum Hacienda of henequén.

15:00h: Optional included: Museum Hacienda or Cenote.

18:00h: Transfer to Mérida.

Note: Hacienda is not available on Sunday. Saturdays are available with changes in the itinerary schedule.

You will be with a real Mayan family, so please be patient, polite, and show empathy at all times. They, mostly women, are adorable and truly enjoy showing you the way they cook and the flavours they love. The main recipe is made with chicken. We can also offer vegan or vegetarian dishes. Please let us know at least 48 hours in advance.
