• Saadani National Park is a new wildlife reserve located on the shores of the Indian Ocean in Tanzania, giving you the opportunity to see both land and sea animals. This is the only park in East Africa that meets the beach. This makes the trip especially enjoyable for taking pictures and enjoying marine activities. Saadani National Park covers 1,137 km and is located 160 km northwest of Dar es Salaam on the Chalinze/Segera highway. In the park, there is a river that flows into the Indian Ocean and supports many hippos, crocodiles, flamingos, and many species of birds. The bottlenose dolphin is common on the south coast of the reserve. You may also be lucky enough to see a green turtle roaming the beach. Another exciting sight is the number of elephants playing in the sand. Saadani is one of the most unique and exciting parks in Tanzania. Its landscape is dotted with palm trees and mangroves in an isolated coastal rainforest inhabited by large African mammals, including elephants, lions, buffalo, and leopards.
