National Monument and Dhamrai's Craft Villages
8 am: Take a day excursion to Dhamrai.
Visit the National Monument at Nabinagar. Pay respect and honor to the departed souls of freedom fighters and others who dedicated their lives to the country. Many visitors admire its unique surroundings and the architectural design of the monument. The fascinating tree plantations include saplings planted by visiting heads of state as part of official protocol.
Proceed to the brass village in Dhamrai to explore the famous brass items, mainly showpieces. Some families have been engaged in this business for 200 years and still operate workshops in the area.
Experience this 5000-year-old tradition, which survives in 30 villages around Dhamrai and can be traced back to the Pala Dynasty (800-1100 AD). Visit a pottery village in the same area.
In the afternoon, head to one of the biggest modern ceramic factories in the country. Meet the factory manager for a briefing about the factory and its production. Gain some practical experience while visiting the plant.
Stop by a textile factory in the same location and explore the plant accordingly.
