Itinerary

1. Day 1: Moshi-Tarangire National Park

   • Meet the tour guide and depart from Moshi or Arusha to Tarangire National Park with a packed lunch. The drive takes approximately 4.5 hours from Moshi or 2 hours from Arusha to Tarangire gate. 
   • Upon arrival, an armed ranger will be introduced to you for a guided walking safari that lasts for about 1.5-2 hours, allowing you to experience the park's nature and wildlife in a unique way. 
   • After the walking safari, your guide will take you to other areas of the park, well-known for its large elephant population. 
   • In the late afternoon, your guide will exit the park and drive for approximately 1 hour to reach the campsite at Migombani or a similar location in Mto Wa Mbu.

   Activity: 1.5-2.0 hour walking safari & game drives

   Meal: Lunch & dinner 

   Accommodation: Overnight at Migombani Campsite or similar in Mto Wa Mbu.

2. Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park - Departure

   • After an early breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park with packed lunch. The drive takes approximately 0.5 hours. Your guide will obtain permits before you proceed through the evergreen underground water forest and open grasslands to reach the lake and the seldom-reached end of the park, where you can see real hot springs. The park's game viewing and scenery are truly unique. 
   • Later in the afternoon, depart from the park to return to Moshi/Arusha or drop off at the airport.

   Optional: Maasai cultural interaction (1.0 hours)

   Meal: Breakfast & lunch 

   Activity: Extensive game drives
