Day 01

Mtskheta, Jvari, Gori and Uplistsikhe Tour

Start from the meeting point and arrive in Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia. Visit the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important churches in Georgia.

Take a short walk through the old town of Mtskheta and visit some of its historic landmarks, such as the Jvari Monastery, a masterpiece of early Georgian medieval architecture and another UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Drive to Gori and visit the Stalin Museum, which documents the life of Joseph Stalin and his impact on world history.

Continue to Uplistsikhe, an ancient cave city that was an important center of pagan worship and, later, Christian culture. Explore the cave dwellings, amphitheatre, and other ancient structures.
