The itinerary

Day 01

Longshan Temple and Taipei Old Town Discovery

Our experience will begin at the main gate of Longshan Temple, where we'll admire the facade and its lanterns adorned with animals representing different years on the Chinese calendar.
Next, we'll enter the temple through the Dragon Entrance and follow the worshippers' path. Our guide will introduce us to the various dragons and the gods they represent, as well as the offerings favoured by each god - incense, flowers, fruits, and candies.
We'll exit the temple from the Tiger Entrance, having gained an understanding of its religious and cultural significance.
Afterwards, we'll take a tour of Taipei's old town area with our guide, visiting Xia-Hai City God Temple to learn about Taoism and exploring Dihua Street and its surroundings, where we'll see traditional goodies like Chinese medicine and visit creative shops.
Finally, we'll visit the pier where all the trading occurs.
