Day 01

Buddha Park, Hor Pha Keo Museum, Patuxai and Pha That Luang

Get picked up from your hotel by your tour guide.
Witness the grandeur of Xieng Khuan, the Buddha Park. Although it is not a temple (Wat), it may be referred to as Wat Xieng Khuan since it contains numerous religious images.
Explore the cultural and historical legacy of the region at Hor Pha Keo Museum. This temple was built on the grounds of the royal palace to house the Emerald Buddha figurine.
Visit the historic Gate of Victory, Patuxai. The monument has five towers representing five Buddhist virtues and the five principles of coexistence among nations.
Call it a day with a visit to Pha That Luang, the renowned Golden Buddhist Stupa. The architecture of the building bears many references to Lao culture and has emerged as a symbol of Lao nationalism.
