Petra Main Trail Hike Through the Siq and Treasury
Meet your tour guide and start at the Petra Visitor Centre, the entrance to the Petra Archaeological Park.
Walk through the Siq, a narrow, winding canyon that leads to Petra's main attraction, the Treasury. The Siq is about 1.2 km long and takes about 30-40 minutes to walk through. Along the way, you will see rock formations, ancient carvings, and tombs.
Explore the Treasury, one of the most famous attractions in Petra. It is a stunning, ornate building carved into the rock face. Take your time exploring the area and admiring the intricate details.
Walk to the Street of Facades and visit the Royal Tombs. The Royal Tombs are a series of large, ornate tombs located high up on the cliff face. They offer a stunning view of the surrounding area.
Later, walk to the Theater. The Theater is an ancient amphitheatre that could seat up to 8,000 people. Take a moment to sit and admire the view.
Return to the Petra Visitor Centre to end the trip.
