The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Yaoundé

Arrival at Yaoundé Nsimalen International Airport. Welcome by our team and transfer to your hotel. You will spend your first night in Cameroon.

Day 02

Mefou Ape Sanctuary and Sleeper Train

Your safari program will begin with an excursion to the Ape Sanctuary of Mefou, where you will see gorillas, chimpanzees, drills, and many more. Enjoy a walk of about 1 hour and 30 minutes in this secondary forest.
Return to Yaoundé, transfer to the train station, and depart by sleeper train to Ngaoundéré. You will experience new and exotic activities on board, such as the small markets that appear for a few minutes at each stop. A bar/restaurant is available on board. Free dinner and night in sleeping cars.
Arrive in Ngaoundéré the next day at around 9 am.

Day 03

Ngaoundéré to Booba Ndjida Park via Fulani Villages

At 9 am, arrive at Ngaoundéré railway station, have breakfast, and depart in a 4x4 for Booba Ndjida Park via Tcholliré.
On the way, visit Fulani villages and see their way of life.
Arrive at the park at the end of the afternoon. Installation at the camp, followed by preparations for the visit with the curator and the park wardens.

Dinner and overnight at the park camp.

Day 04

Safari in Booba Ndjida National Park

After breakfast, the whole day will be devoted to visiting the richest animal park in Cameroon in search of big cats, such as lions and hyenas, and other emblematic animals of the savanna, such as buffalos, elephants, giraffes, monkeys, etc.

Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 05

Second Day Exploring Booba Ndjida National Park

Explore the park on the second day under the guidance of the park warden.

Dinner and overnight at the park camp.

Day 06

Return to Ngaoundéré via Periodic Markets

Breakfast and departure for Ngaoundéré.
On the way back, we will visit some periodic markets.
Free lunch in Ngaoundéré and transfer to the train station for the return to Yaoundé.
Night and dinner are free on the train. Arrive in Yaoundé the next day around 9 am.

Day 07

Yaoundé City Tour

After breakfast, you will visit the city of seven hills.
Explore monuments, markets, the way of life, and the activities of the populations of the capital.

Free evening and overnight stay.

Day 08

Souvenir Shopping and Departure

After breakfast, you will take advantage of the morning to do your last souvenir shopping at the craft markets of Yaoundé.
In the afternoon, transfer to Yaoundé Nsimalen International Airport.
