Laguna Cayutue Hike and Mirador Entre Volcanes
- We will head east toward the Andes mountain range. After 93 kilometres of magnificent road, we will leave our vehicle and begin a 1.5-hour easy hike to Laguna Cayutue or Camutue. This splendid little lake is the ultimate reward. Because it remains little known, few people embark on this hike, making the incredible landscape on arrival even more special. Peaceful and pure, the lake is bordered by forest, and the peaks of volcanoes are reflected in its waters - a small unmissable lake in the south.
- We can enjoy some time here and eat our lunch box facing the lake.
- Then, we will continue to Cochamó, on the banks of the Reloncaví estuary.
- From there, we will take a moderately difficult hike of about 1 hour to reach the panoramic viewpoint of Mirador Entre Volcanes, which, as its name suggests, offers a breathtaking view of the estuary and the Osorno and Yates volcanoes, if the weather is on our side.
- Finally, if you wish, before taking the road back to Puerto Varas, we can stop in the village of Cochamó for a coffee after our memorable hike.
