Itinerary

1. Day 1: Kandy

   Upon arrival at the airport, you will meet your private chauffeur/guide to begin your tour in Sri Lanka. As your first event in Sri Lanka, you will start travelling to Kandy. On your way to Kandy, we will stop at Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. It’s one of the biggest orphanages in Sri Lanka, home to over 90 elephants. The Location is situated on a coconut plantation and the other end of a river.

   Attractions during the day:

   • Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage
   • Kandy Tooth Temple
   • Sightseeing in Kandy

   You will stay overnight in Kandy at a 2/3-star hotel.

2. Day 2: Nuwara Eliya

   After your early breakfast, you will be accompanied to the Royal Botanical Garden. After that, we will start the journey to Nuwara Eliya. On your way to Nuwara Eliya, we will stop for a tea factory visit and taste a fresh/hot cup of tea. After visiting the tea factory and tea estate, you will go to Nuwara Eliya, which is one of the most picturesque cities in Sri Lanka. A chill climate and greenish environment will make your soul refresh.

   • Tea Factory and Tea Estate
   • Gregory Lake
   • Sightseeing at Nuwara Eliya

   You will stay overnight in Nuwara Eliya at a 2/3-star hotel.

3. Day 3: Ella Train Ride

   After breakfast, you will start your day sightseeing in Nuwara Eliya City. Next, you will get a picturesque train trip to Ella from Nuwara Eliya. Ella is another tourist village/town situated in the Hill Country. Jungle mountains and tea estates are common in this city. There are natural waterfalls near this tourist village.

   • Nine Arch Bridge

   You will stay overnight in Ella at a 2/3-star hotel.

4. Day 4: Tangalle

   After breakfast, you will travel to Tangalle. So now you are reaching to have beach life. Tangalle is one of the largest cities in southern Sri Lanka. There are several beaches in this city. It has a mild climate and sandy beaches with palm trees.

   • Hummanaya Blowhole
   • Kalametiya Bird Sanctuary

   You will stay overnight in Tangalle at a 2/3-star hotel.

5. Day 5: Departure

   After your early breakfast, you will travel to Hikkaduwa for coral watching. Depending on your departure time, we will stop at Bentota Beach (or travel to the Airport).
