Day 01

Kakum National Park, Cape Coast Castle and Elmina Castle

Visit Ghana's most visited attraction site. Tucked away within the Kakum Rainforest is the amazing canopy walkway, suspended 40 m above ground level, offering a fascinating and beautiful perspective of the forest and its wildlife.
Head to Cape Coast Castle, one of the biggest castles still standing in Ghana today, constructed by European forces.
Explore Elmina Castle, the oldest European structure still standing below the Sahara. It was the first trading post ever constructed on the Gulf of Guinea.
The next stop is Hans Cottage Botel. The setting is pleasant, partly built on stilts over a pond, with a swimming pool and lovely greenery. There are crocodiles, turtles, and various bird species to see, including a large colony of weaver birds building their nests around the water.

Once more, I advise you to bring some cash with you in case you decide to make a purchase once we arrive at the attraction sites, as the majority of gift shops do not accept payment by credit card. The tour will include a lunch break where you'll be taken to a nice restaurant for a reasonably priced lunch.
