The Masai Mara is Kenya's most celebrated game park, offering the chance to see the Big Five and many other wildlife species in the savannah. This 4-day luxury lodge safari includes scenic travel through the Great Rift Valley, game drives in a private safari vehicle, and time to explore the vast Maasai Mara plains. The reserve is also home to the great wildebeest migration from July to October, although weather patterns influence the movement. Throughout the year, Masai Mara hosts the Big Five and a rich variety of other wildlife.

At the Hippo Pool, you will enjoy a picnic lunch with the hippos and crocodiles.

The itinerary

Day 01

Nairobi to Masai Mara via the Great Rift Valley

Pick up from your hotel or the airport and depart for a scenic drive down into the Rift Valley to Masai Mara, Kenya's premier game reserve. You will travel in your private safari vehicle.
Stop briefly en route at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for stunning views of the world's largest valley. Arrive at Masai Mara in time for lunch. The afternoon game drive at 3:30 pm allows for spotting the unrivalled wildlife in the park. Return to your lodge by 6:30 pm.

Dinner and overnight at Keekorok Lodge.

Day 02

Full-Day Safari in the Maasai Mara

Spend a full day in Masai Mara.
Enjoy two game drives today, one in the morning and the other in the late afternoon after lunch.
As your safari is private, your game drive timings are flexible, which is especially helpful if you are travelling with children or are on a honeymoon.
You may also choose to have a full-day game drive. At the Hippo Pool, you will enjoy a picnic lunch with the hippos and crocodiles.

Dinner and overnight at Keekorok Lodge.

Day 03

Big Five Game Viewing on the Masai Mara Plains

Spend the full day game viewing and exploring the park in search of the Big Five. Early morning and late afternoon game drives are offered.
You may want to add a Masai Village visit or a hot air balloon ride to your safari at an extra cost.

Dinner and overnight at Keekorok Lodge.

Day 04

Masai Mara to Nairobi

Depart for Nairobi after an early morning game drive and breakfast, and arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon. Transfer to the airport for your flight home or to your hotel.
