Day 01
Luxor West Bank Tombs and Temples Tour
- Pick up from your hotel and head to the West Bank of Luxor to visit the following:
- The two colossal statues of Amenhotep III, known as the Colossi of Memnon.
- The Valley of the Kings, where magnificent tombs were discovered. These tombs were carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated, and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the pharaohs. You will visit 3 tombs.
- Hatshepsut Temple at El Deir El Bahary, an impressive temple dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut, the only female pharaoh.
- Medinat Habu, a cluster of buildings dominated by the massive open-air Temple of Ramses III. Honestly, you would not have believed the scale if it had been in a Hollywood movie.
- The valley of the workers who built the tombs and temples of the ancient Egyptians, giving us an insight into the daily life of the ancient Egyptians.
