Day 01

Addis Ababa Highlights and Entoto Hill

Start by visiting the Orthodox Holy Trinity Cathedral, the most important church in Ethiopia.
Then continue to the National Museum, considered one of the most important museums in Sub-Saharan Africa. Among its most famous exhibits are the 3.2 million-year-old bones of our ancient ancestor, Lucy.
Your next stop is the Ethnographic Museum at the university. It was founded and managed by the Polish scientist Professor Stanisław Chojnacki.
The lunch break will take place at a restaurant serving Ethiopian dishes and local beer - for example, 'Ambassador,' which has a large garden.
After lunch, climb Entoto Hill, located 3200 m above sea level. A new park with an observation deck offers panoramic views of Addis Ababa.
The final attraction of the day in Addis Ababa is a trip through Merkato, believed to be the biggest marketplace in Africa.
