1. 5DAYS UGANDA CULTURAL SAFARIS

   Day 1: Travel from Kampala/Entebbe to Nshenyi Cultural Village

   Have an early morning breakfast, after, meet your experienced Uganda safari guide for briefing about your 5 days Uganda cultural safari to Nshenyi Cultural Village and the Batwa Cultural Trail. After briefing, leave your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala for Nshenyi Village via Masaka-Mbarara route, approximately 6 hours’ drive in a 4WD vehicle. En-route, stopover will be made at the Equator and lunch at Igongo, then proceed towards Ntungamo side while enjoying the breathtaking views of landscape of the countryside. On arrival at Nshenyi Village, check into your booked accommodation for overnight stay.

   Day 2: Full day cultural experience in Nshenyi Village

   After breakfast, leave your accommodation facility for a full day cultural experience in Nshenyi Village. Engage in variety of cultural activities including milking cows, hands on traditional ghee making, preparation of banana beer/juice and food especially matooke and even have a taste of what you prepare for the day. Later in the evening, get entertained from the local residents, enjoy the traditional dances, music performances and after, retire for the night in your accommodation facility.

   Day 3: Nshenyi Village to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

   Wake up early, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and after, transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Southwestern Uganda, about 3-4 hours’ drive. Upon arrival at Mgahinga, check into your accommodation for overnight stay.

   Day 4: Batwa Cultural Trail experience

   Early in the morning after your breakfast, meet the Batwa guide for briefing and then hit the Batwa trail for a thrilling African cultural experience. This will take you a long day exploring more about how the Batwa lived in forest for over the  years while hunting and gathering. The Batwa guides will demonstrate to you the different techniques they used for hunting or gathering, point out the different plants of medicinal importance, visit the Batwa King’s home also popular as Ngarama cave.

   At the Batwa King’s home, expect to enjoy amazing traditional music and dance performances, learn more about the Batwa cultures, traditions to mention but a few. After the long day of interaction with the Batwa pygmies, retreat for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at the lodge in Mgahinga National Park.

   Day 5: Departure

   Have an early morning breakfast, after, check out of your lodge in Mgahinga National Park and meet your Uganda cultural safari guide. Drive back to Kampala, 8-9 hours’ drive and make sure you have some packed lunch to enjoy on the way. You will later have a stopover at Mpambire drum makers to explore how traditional drums are made by locals then your Uganda safari guide drops you off to Kampala or Entebbe.
