The itinerary

Day 01

Sohag Museum and Abydos Temple Journey

6:00 am - Depart from Luxor and travel to Sohag, which is located about 260 km (162 miles) north of Luxor.
9:00 am - Arrive at Sohag Museum and spend 2 hours exploring the museum's collection of artifacts from the ancient city of Abydos and the surrounding area. The museum houses a wide range of artifacts, including statues, stelae, pottery, and jewellery.
11:00 am - Leave Sohag Museum and head to Abydos Temple, which is located about 20 km (12 miles) from Sohag. Lunch is available upon request.
12:00 pm - Reach Abydos Temple and spend 2-3 hours exploring the temple's many chambers and halls. The temple is dedicated to the god Osiris and is famous for its well-preserved reliefs and inscriptions.
3:00 pm - Afterwards, travel back to Luxor.
7:00 pm - Arrive in Luxor, marking the end of the trip.
