8-Day Egypt Tour of Cairo, Luxor and Aswan with Nile Cruise

• Your tour manager will meet and assist you at the airport, then escort you to the hotel by air-conditioned coach. At the hotel, the tour manager will assist with a smooth check-in and review your holiday itinerary with you to establish and confirm pick-up times for each tour.

• Breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, then meet your personal guide, who will accompany you to the Giza Plateau to visit one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World: the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus, the famous Sphinx, and the Valley Temple facing the great statue. Lunch will be served at a good-quality local restaurant.
• Then transfer to enjoy the Egyptian Museum, including the treasures room of the child king Tutankhamen. Continue to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue.
• Continue driving to Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore Khan el-Khalili, Cairo's old bazaar. Back to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Optional tour to the Sound & Light Show at Giza Pyramids - $30 per person.

• Check out from the hotel in the morning, then transfer to Cairo Airport for a flight with EGYPTAIR to Luxor, where you will be met and assisted, then taken by an air-conditioned vehicle to board your Egypt Nile cruise and check in.
• After lunch on board, enjoy a visit to the impressive Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Dinner and overnight on board the Nile cruise.

• After breakfast on your Nile cruise, take an excursion to the royal cemetery of 62 Pharaohs, the Valley of the Kings, then continue to the mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by the architects of the New Kingdom Pharaoh Hatshepsut in the 15th century BC.
• Head to the Colossi of Memnon. After lunch, you will sail to Edfu, enjoying a leisurely dinner on board. Overnight on board the Nile cruise.

Optional Hot Air Balloon Tour: A hot air balloon is an incredible way to see the "world's largest open-air museum." The tour will carry you over Luxor's ruins and temples in the beautiful morning light. The price of a hot air balloon ride is $99 per person.

• Continue sailing to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board your Nile cruise.

• After breakfast on the Nile cruise, enjoy a day's sightseeing in Aswan. Start with the High Dam and the largest known ancient obelisk, the Unfinished Obelisk, located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt, then proceed to the beautiful Temple of Philae, which is devoted to the two goddesses, Isis and Hathor. Dinner and overnight on board a deluxe Nile cruise.

• Disembark from your Nile cruise after breakfast, then transfer to Aswan Airport for your return flight to Cairo, where you will be met and assisted at the airport and then taken to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Optional tour to enjoy Abu Simbel temples, which were originally carved out of the mountainside during the reign of Pharaoh Ramesses II in the 13th century BC as a lasting monument to himself and his queen Nefertari. The price of the Abu Simbel tour is $85 per person.
