Day 01

Texila Heritage Tour from Islamabad

Drive from Islamabad to Texila via G.T. Road, a journey of about 35 km.
Take a short stop at a typical Pakistani truck drivers' restaurant to witness truck art and experience truck driver restaurant culture.
Visit the Texila Museum and see the Dharmarajika Buddhist Stupa, where Buddha's relics were found.
Continue to the ancient city of Sirkup.
Then head to the Mohra Muradu Stupa Buddhist temple.
Next, proceed to the Julian Buddhist Monastery.
Afterwards, have lunch at Khanpur Lake.
