Day 01

Historic Managua Walk with Sunset at Tiscapa Lagoon

Meet your tour guide and start your walking adventure at Plaza de la Revolución. Marvel at the iconic Cathedral of Managua, the neoclassical architecture of the Palace of Culture, Central Park, and the amazing Ruben Dario Theatre. Learn about the interesting history behind the construction of the cathedral and the Cultural Palace, as well as the literary influence of Rubén Darío.
Head towards Paseo Xolotlán to see the mock-up of the principal buildings that were destroyed during the 1972 earthquake.
From here, walk towards Puerto Salvador Allende to enjoy views of the lakeshore.
Arrive at Tiscapa Lagoon to enjoy the beautiful sunset. Also, take in views over the capital from the city's highest hill, Loma de Tiscapa.
