Cu Chi Tunnels - Mekong Delta Tour
- Meet the tour guide at 7:30 am, who will pick you up from your hotel and visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. The Cu Chi tunnels could be the starting point for those who want to know about Vietnam’s strategic hamlet and tunnel system over 220 km long via a short documentary video in 1967 as you crawl through the tiny hallway to figure out why the guerilla won such a battle and have a taste of tapioca with salted sesame seeds, Hoang Cam kitchen system. You will find it hard to imagine the destruction, damage, and defoliation all over the area, caused by bombing and mines when Cu Chi was “A Free Target Zone. “
- Go to the shooting range (bullet cost excluded). Have lunch in Mekong Restop Restaurant on the way to My Tho.
- See the Rach Mieu Bridge, one of three cable-stayed bridges in the Mekong Delta, where we take a boat trip along the Mekong River to an islet. (One of the four sacred islets: Dragon – Unicorn – Tortoise – Phoenix)
- Continue to visit the local coconut candy manufacturer and learn more about how locals make coconut sweets. You can also have a taste.
- Walk along a village to discover a local orchard garden where you could enjoy some tropical season fruits and listen to traditional folk songs performed by local artists, followed by seeing a bee farm and having a taste of honey tea. You can also take a picture with Python!
- Head back to Ho Chi Minh City at 5 pm and end our tour by 7 pm.
