Itinerary

1. Day 1: Transfer to Sipi Falls

   • Our guide will pick you up from the airport or the agreed station, where he will brief you on how the tour will be conducted.
   • You will then start your 6-hour journey to the park eastwards on the Kampala-Jinja highway via Iganga through Mbale, where you will have your lunch and then proceed to your final destination.
   • On your arrival, you will check in to your hotel, relax a little bit, prepare for a nature walk /community walk around the falls, and tour the coffee plantations (Arabic coffee plantations).
   • You will see how coffee is locally grown and processed.
   • You will return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

2. Day 2: Hiking The Three Waterfalls

   • After your morning breakfast, you will have your lunch packed for the day, then explore the 3 waterfalls (75m, 85m and 100m) hiking up mountain Elgon which takes 4 hours starting from Budadiri via Sasa trail to the Summit and then descend the Sipi trail back to Sipi falls. The falls offer breathtaking views across L.Kyoga, Karamoja plains, and the slopes of Mountain Elgon. Expect to see different bird species like the Tacazze, sunbirds, hornbill birds and many more while hiking. Sipi Falls are arguably the best place for abseiling. The guide will arrange it on a certain section of the main Sipi Falls. Retreat from the activity for relaxation, have dinner and overnight.

3. Day 3: Transfer to Jinja and Kampala

   • After breakfast, you will set off to Jinja to the source of River Nile expect to see where the White Nile and Lake Victoria merge; you will then have lunch then set off to Kampala and Entebbe for those living in the country.
