Full-Day Amarapura, Inwa, and Sagaing Exploration

  • Travel to Upein Bridge, the world's longest teak bridge, with 1,086 teak pillars. It stretches for 1.2 km and is more than 160 years old.

  • Visit Mahagandaryon Monastery, where more than 1,500 monks reside, and observe daily life in the monastery.

  • Proceed to the silk weaving industry, where weaving has been done in the traditional Myanmar style since 1803.

  • Then move to Ava and reach the bank of the Myitthar River.

  • Take the ferry boat and arrive in Ava.

  • Enjoy a horse cart ride and experience the local way of life.

  • See Bagaya Monastery, built in 1834 AD, with 176 teak pillars. The longest teak pillar is 17 m high and 2.7 m wide.

  • After that, visit the leaning tower, also known as Nanmyint Tower, built in 1822 AD.

  • Continue to Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery, a stucco monastery built in 1822 AD.

  • Reach Umin Thonze Pagoda and Sun U Ponnyashin Pagoda, and enjoy the panoramic view of the river.
