Itinerary

1. Day 1 - Arrival

   • You will arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where our guide will meet you and welcome you to the pearl of Africa and then transfer you to your hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight. 

2. Day 2 - Transfer to Mountain Elgon National Park

   • After your breakfast, you will embark on your journey to Mountain Elgon national park, where you will make a stopover (the source of the Nile) for sightseeing and engage in other leisurely experiences like bird watching, scenic views, city tour around the historic Jinja town to explore its unique ancient building, take photos. 
   • You will have lunch en route, reach the park in the evening, check into your hotel, and have dinner and overnight.

3. Day 3 - Hiking the Sipi Falls

   • After your morning breakfast, you will have your lunch packed for the day, then explore the three waterfalls hiking up mountain Elgon which takes 4 hours, starting from Budadiri via the sasa trail to the summit and then descending the Sipi trail back to Sipi Falls.

   The falls offer to breathe taking views across L.kyoga, Karamoja plains, and the slopes of mountain Elgon. Expect to see different bird species like the tacazze, sunbirds, hornbill birds and many more while hiking.

4. Day 4 - Transfer to Murchison Falls

   • After breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and start your journey to Murchison falls national park with lunch en route, then proceed to Murchison falls national park. 
   • You will arrive in the evening, check into your hotel, relax and overnight.

5. Day 5 - Game drive and Boat cruise

   • Later in the afternoon, you will set out for the 3 hours boat cruise on the Albert Nile to the bottom of the falls. 
   • Expect to see animals like Hippos, crocodiles, Water bucks, river bank elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and many water birds, including yellow-billed stork, Abyssinian ground hornbill, squacco heron, and African skimmer. 
   • You will reach the “Devil's Cauldron”. You can see the majestic, powerful Nile River forcing itself through a narrow gorge before dropping at 45 meters. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

6. Day 6 - Transfer to Kibale national park

   • After an early morning breakfast, embark on a journey to Kibale national park. 
   • The drive is so scenic, with magical views of the lush green countryside, impressive landscapes and views of mountains of the moon (mountain Rwenzori). 
   • On your arrival, check-in, settle for lunch, and undertake a nature walk, starting from either Kanyanchu or Sebitoli, traversing villages surrounding the forest like Kikoni, Nyaibandaand Nyakalongo. 
   • As you go through these villages, you interact with cultures and locals like the Bakiga and Batoro, who are from Runyakitara-speaking tribes in Uganda. Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

7. Day 7 - Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi swamp walk

   • After a healthy breakfast, you will connect to the Kanyanchu visitor center, where you will meet the park ranger guide for a briefing on how the trekking is conducted, and he will lead you into the magnificent rain forest in Kibale for your unforgettable chimpanzee trekking experience which starts at 8 AM. 
   • The trekking experience takes 2-3 hours involving hikes through challenging forest landscapes covered by mature trees and verdant flora (371 tree species). Once the Chimpanzees are sighted, you can spend one hour with them chimpanzees. 
   • You will watch them play, eat, feed, patrolling their territories. Return for lunch and relax.
   • Connect to Bigodi wetland sanctuary for a wetland walk. The sanctuary is Eco- a tourism site and the best in Uganda with over 200 bird species, including the great blue Turaco. It is also a habitat for the swamp-dwelling sitatunga antelope and several primates. 
   • Return for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

8. Day 8 - Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

   • After having breakfast, embark on a journey to Lake Mburo national park.
   • On your arrival, you will check in to your hotel, have lunch and relax. 
   • Later on, embark on a walking safari in the park, and look out for animals like Zebras, impalas, antelopes, elands, giraffes, and buffaloes, among others. 
   • Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

9. Day 9 - Game drive and Launch Cruise

   • After breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive; this is the most rewarding game drive, where you get to see animals when they’re mostly active. 
   • Expect to see different animals like zebras, impalas, antelopes, and buffaloes; you will take as many pictures as you want and expect to see different bird species during the drive.
   • You will return for lunch, relax and prepare for a launch cruise where you will see different aquatic animals like hippos, crocodiles, sea birds like the shoebill, kingfishers, and oribis, among others. 
   • Return for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

10. Day 10 - Transfer to Kampala

    • After morning breakfast, embark on a journey back to Kampala. 
    • You will make a stopover at the equator in Masaka to have lunch and, take memorable photos, and take part in the water experiment at the equator. You will continue your journey to Kampala.
