Itinerary
-
Day 1: Tarangire National Park
- After the African breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up from the hotel around 8:30 AM. You and your driver's guide will plan if you want to stop somewhere for shopping, or else you can drive straight to the main gate of Tarangire National Park.
- On your way to Tarangire, you will enjoy the beautiful panoramic view with some waving and beautiful smiles from Maasai people (especially Maasai kids) walking with their cows. You can ask your guide if it is possible to stop and take some pictures of the things or people around. The journey to Tarangire National Park will take around 2:30 hours to reach the main gate. Tarangire is located slightly out of the significant Safari route. The high number of elephants around the national park is the major thing that makes the park famous and unique. Bird sounds and a friendly, authentic Safari atmosphere, especially during the dry season, will make you want to spend more time in the park.
-
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Tour
- After breakfast, start early and descend into the crater floor for an incredible and most valued Safari game drive to see wildlife in the most beautiful place, indeed the Garden of Eden. Ngorongoro Crater is the world-famous and biggest caldera. The caldera has 19 km of diameter and 260 km of circumference, offering one of the largest concertations of wildlife due to the availability of food and water throughout the year. The crater has a river, several swamps, and a soda lake that attracts aquatic birds. Crater is a very important hide and habitat for endangered wildlife species—one of the few places with at least a high population density of black rhinos worldwide.
- After lunch with the hippopotamus on the beautiful picnic site, you will ascend from the crater floor, heading to Karatu town overnight.
-
Day 3: Lake Manyara Tour
- On this day, you will catch sight of breathtakingly encompassing views of Lake Manyara and thousands of greater and lesser pink. Flamingos on its shores, along with pink-backed pelicans, yellow-billed storks, grey herons, and pods of hippos.
- For lunch, you will head to a lovely picnic site with a view of the lake, where you will enjoy your meal while listening to the beautiful songs from the different species of birds with their beautiful colours trying to seduce you to feed them. Remember feeding wild animals is strictly prohibited.
- Later, you will head back to Arusha town for the night.
