The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu and Welcome Dinner

Welcome to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. You can explore the city and learn more about the culture. In the evening, enjoy a Nepali cultural show with local food at a welcome dinner.

Day 02

Flight to Lukla and Trek to Phakding

After a short flight to Lukla, begin the trek by walking through Chaurikharka village and descending towards Dudhkoshi Ghat. Follow the trail along the riverbank until you reach Phakding. Overnight at a hotel in Phakding.

Day 03

Trek to Namche Bazaar

Continue the trek to Namche Bazaar, the gateway to Everest. Today's walk is more challenging as the trail goes uphill. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of Ama Dablam and other mountains.

Day 04

Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar

Spend the day acclimatizing at Namche Bazaar. Explore the area, visit the Sherpa Museum, and enjoy the surrounding views.

Day 05

Trek Toward Tengboche and Dingboche

After breakfast, start the trek towards Tengboche. Enjoy the walk through rhododendron forests and continue on to reach Dingboche village.

Day 06

Acclimatization Day at Dingboche

Rest and acclimatize at Dingboche - with an optional trek into the valleys for beautiful views.

Day 07

Short Trek to Chhukung

Trek to Chhukung, a small village. Today is a shorter trek of about 2 hours.

Day 08

Hike to Island Peak Base Camp

Hike to Island Peak Base Camp and rest in preparation for the summit push.

Day 09

Island Peak Summit and Return to Chhukung

Start early in the morning to climb Island Peak. Reach the top and return to Base Camp, then continue trekking to Chhukung.

Day 10

Trek Back to Tengboche

Trek back to Tengboche and enjoy different mountain views along the Khumbu Valley.

Day 11

Return Through the Khumbu Valley

We will trek back through the Khumbu Valley, enjoying different mountain views of Ama Dablam, Tabuche, Clolache, Lhotse, and more. After reaching Tengboche, we will rest there for the night and begin the next day afresh. You can also take photos of Tengboche Monastery and enjoy photographing the many surrounding mountains.

Day 12

Descent to Monjo

Trek down to Monjo, with time to enjoy good food in Namche, including bakery items and good coffee, whatever you want. In Monjo, you exit Sagarmatha National Park and stay at a good hotel with a hot shower.

Day 13

Final Trek to Lukla

Today is your last night in the Himalaya with your trekking crew. Tomorrow, your porter and others will stay in Lukla, while you and your guide fly to Kathmandu after your final Himalayan breakfast. You will need to tip your porter and crew, and you can give your guide's tip in Kathmandu.

Day 14

Flight to Manthali and Drive to Kathmandu

Take an early morning flight back to Manthali, Ramechhap. After the flight, drive around 3-4 hours to Kathmandu, covering 131 km, and stay overnight at a hotel. We will also celebrate with a dinner in Kathmandu featuring a Nepali cultural show and a final party dinner on your last night in Nepal.

  • Daypack (for your raincoat, snacks, camera, and so forth)
