6-Day Botswana Safari to Nxai Pan and Meerkats at Ntwetwe Pan

• A guide will meet you at Maun International Airport and transfer you to the lodge, where you can unpack, shower, and relax.
• An optional scenic flight in the afternoon gives you a wide aerial view of the mighty Okavango Delta. This can be arranged on request.

Overnight in Maun.

• We depart from Maun towards Nxai Pan National Park. Lunch is served en route. Close to Phuduhudu village, we turn north and enter Nxai Pan.
• On our way towards the campsite, we will already see a variety of wildlife such as gemsbok, steenbok, and ostriches.

Overnight in Nxai Pan.

• An early morning game drive exploring Nxai Pan should reveal a large variety of animals. This reserve is home to springboks, gemsbok, lions, cheetah, brown hyena, bat-eared foxes, and other migratory species such as zebra and wildebeest, which move according to the availability of resources - water and grass.
• There is time to relax in camp at mid-day before we start the afternoon drive.

Overnight in Nxai Pan.

• After breakfast, we pack up, and our route takes us towards Kudiakam Pan, famous for its cluster of ancient baobabs, well known as Baines Baobabs.
• Lunch is served en route.
• We arrive in Ntwetwe Pan in time to visit the meerkats and also enjoy a nice visit with them in the morning before they start their daily activity.
• Sleep out under the stars on the salt pan.

Overnight in Ntwetwe Pan.

• We spend the morning with the meerkat colony before leaving the salt pans and heading to Elephant Sands. We arrive at camp in time so you do not miss the beautiful sunset, with a herd of elephants just a few meters away.

• After a delicious breakfast, we pack up and make our way towards Maun.
