Day 01

Chobe River Safari Cruise and Four-Country Confluence

• Meet the tour guide, who will pick you up from the airport, hotel, or any other desired location. Receive a briefing on how to stay safe and enjoy the tour, including what to bring, what to wear, and what to do and not do.
• Board the vehicle and drive about 75 km to the Botswana border. Along the way, the driver or guide will help you spot wildlife as you pass through Zambezi National Park and Victoria Falls National Park. We can slow down or stop for pictures. You are likely to see animals such as lions, elephants, buffaloes, and hyenas.
• Reach the Botswana border, where we provide our passports and COVID-19 vaccination cards if required.
• Arrive at the Chobe River site, where we will meet our Botswana correspondents and receive another briefing. Then get into the standard boat and sail along the Chobe River in search of wildlife. The animals are not hard to find, especially in the afternoon due to the weather, when they come to drink and cool off in the water. The guide will help you spot wildlife you may not be able to see on your own. You are going to see animals such as elephants by the water, buffaloes, hippos, and zebras. Basically, you see all kinds of animals during this tour of the Chobe River.
• See the place where the Chobe joins the Zambezi River, marking the division of four countries: Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia, and Namibia.
• End the tour with our team dropping you off at your destination, whether a lodge, hotel, or guest house.

Know before you go

• Viewing wildlife may start while still in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Because of the other national parks we will pass through, the drive from Victoria Falls may be tiresome and takes about an hour and some minutes.
• You will change the guide once on the other side of the country.
